Have your say on the proposed increases to taxi licensing fees. 24 March to 22 April 2022. This consultation is closed.
In accordance with Section 70 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, we consulted regarding increasing the fees paid for applications associated with taxi and private hire vehicle, driver and operator licences.
The proposed taxi licensing fees 2022-23 were available to download and view during the consultation period.
The deadline for comments was 22 April 2022.
What happens next
- If no objections are received or are received and withdrawn before the consultation deadline, the proposed fee increase shall come into force on 25 April 2022
- If objections are received, the council will consider them and set a new date when the new fees will come into force
