The Network Management Plan proposes to cover a period from 2019 - 2034 and will supplement the Local Transport Plan.

The Network Management Plan outlines a number of actions to help manage the efficiency of the highway network and ensure we get the best use out of it. It sets out our objectives for the plan:

  • Economic growth
  • Provide a good quality highway network for all users
  • Promote healthy lifestyles
  • Make journeys safer
  • Ensure access to services for those living in rural areas

and the priorities based on those objectives.

We are currently consulting on our draft Network Management Plan and are seeking your views and feedback on our objectives, priorities and action plan.

How we will use your feedback

We will review the responses in detail and where appropriate the draft will be altered to take these views into account. Following this consultation the final document will follow the decision process and will be published here in due course.
