Licensing policy 2020-2025 consultation
Herefordshire Council (in its role as Licensing Authority) is responsible for the licensing of regulated activities under the Licensing Act 2003.
Our new licensing policy, which covers the next five years, sets out the principles we will apply when making licensing decisions.
We consulted widely with current licence and certificate holders, local services – police, fire and rescue, business and community groups and local town and parish councils.
This consultation provided an opportunity for any member of the public to comment on the proposed policy.

What happens next
All comments received by 20 November 2020 will be considered by Herefordshire Council as the licensing authority, in arriving at the final policy. Once finalised the new policy will be available at Licensing Act 2003 policy
